Progressive California Voter Guide

Slate mail organization.  The principal officer is Steve Esparza, CEO of Community Associates and Modern Press (CAMP PR). According to the letter sent out by the committee, “Trish McCabe” is the committee’s “San Diego Coordinator”.  Republican campaign committee treasurer C. April Boling is the treasurer. Incorporated in August 2024.

The below organizations had contributed as of 9/21/2024, all of which are controlled by candidate for Assembly Carl DeMaio:

  • Reform California with Carl DeMaio
  • Reform Local Government PAC
  • Carl DeMaio for State Assembly 2024

According to California State law, slate mailer committees are only allowed to send out mass mailers featuring four or more candidates.  Text messages and door-to-door canvassing are not considered to be valid activities for slate mailer committees.
