Dan Smiechowski was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He earned a bachelor’s degree from SDSU in 1979 and an associate degree from Sorbonne University in 1985. His career experience includes working as a teacher, as a tutor, in real estate, and as a contributing writer. He served as an elected member of the Clairemont Planning Commission and Clairemont Towne Council.[1]
