He serves on the Chula Vista Charter Review Commission and is a former high school teacher and district administrator. Inzunza received a bachelor’s degree in sociology from San Diego State University and a master’s degree in education from the University of Phoenix.

His top priority: public safety. He wants to hire more police officers and firefighters.
