It was a hard call whether this doorhanger was “for Faucolner” or “against Alvarez”. However, the general rule I have been using is, when a literature piece dedicates equal or more space to negative messaging against a candidate as it does to positive messaging for a candidate, it is considered a piece against the opposing candidate. This piece clearly meets this criteria and, therefore, is categorized as “against Alvarez”, even though it is the primary GOTV piece being utilized by the Republican party on behalf of their candidate.
