Mary Salas is a member of the Chula Vista City Council, holding Seat 4. She was first elected to the position in 2012 and previously served in the same position from 1996 to 2004. Salas was a Democratic member of the California State Assembly, representing District 79 from 2006 to 2010.
Salas is a 2014 candidate for mayor of Chula Vista, California.[1]
