Luca de Sanctis Barton designed and printed in-house the yellow sticker after feedback from the SD&ICLC canvass team and community members. Most of the community did not understand there was a Special Primary Election for the 80th Assembly District and thought this walk piece was for the regular 2022 June Primary Election.

With a vote margin in the Special Primary 80th Assembly District Election of only 0.4% (149 votes) between the top two candidates, Georgette Gomez (15,177 votes) and David Alvarez (15,028 votes), community-centered campaign measures, of which the sticker was only a small part, helped Georgette Gomez win the special primary.
