City of San Diego City Council, District 2 (2014 Primary)

Primary election for San Diego City Council District 2.

This seat was previously held by Kevin Faulconer, who vacated the seat when he became mayor of San Diego City. It is currently held by Ed Harris, who was appointed in April, 2014 to the seat to serve out the remainder of the term, until the winner of the 2014 general election is appointed.

There are four candidates competing for this seat. The top two will advance to the general election.  The candidates are Sarah Boot, Lori Zapf, Jim Morrison, and Mark Schwartz.
